Queue Management System

Manual OPD System will be replaced with Queue Management System. Manual registration of OPD patient will be computerized. All the patient will visit respected doctor on their turn. Vitals of all the OPD patient shall be measured and entered into the computer system. There will be control entry and exit mechanism for the patients. Queue Management System equipment Installation has been done in OPD area in THQ Hospital Arifwala
Under the Chief Minister Punjab vision “all patients should be treated equally and in respectful manner” Queue Management System (QMS) has been installed at THQ Hospital Arifwala. On daily basis over 1200 patients visit hospital which is unparrallel in Punjab at Secondary Level. Serving 1200 patients at over 15 service points in one day is a herculean task and in order to manage special patient flow has been designed.

Patient Flow

Patients arrive and are given Qmatic tickets for registration. Patients are placed in 5 different categories and they are called to the registration counters accordingly.

Patient Registration

To manage such number at registration five (5) counters are established where Eleven (10)  Patient Registration Associates (PRAs) are registering patients basic information digitally.

Vital Counters

Vital Area consisting six (6) counters is established in OPD Hall where six (6) qualified Charge Nurses are taking patient vitals, maintaining patient history and assigning them filter and consultant clinic.

Clinics Queue

Display counter and LCDs are installed in main OPD Hall as well as outside doctors room where queue numbers are displayed.
